Caring for carers

Cropped shot of elderly woman and female geriatric social worker holding hands. Women of different age comforting each other.-
In this workshop we explore the life and importance of a carer, the need for self care and accessing services and support available beyond the workshop.

When caring for a loved one, friend or family member, a person may not realise they are a carer and fulfilling a caring role. The physical, emotional and psychological demands of caring can often leave carers feeling isolated and alone.
